Notes
The Royalty & Legacy DLC brought a fun new flared style to stairs, so I wanted to try and make a Maxis Match version of it. Spoiler: it was way harder than expected!
The flared bottom part uses a different shader than the rest of the stairs, so the colors won’t always match perfectly (they can look a bit lighter or darker depending on your lighting). The textures also stretched in a weird way, so most of the time I just tried things over and over until it looked right. Just wanted to be honest about that!
Here’s what’s included:
- 8 new staircases – including 2 inspired by/complete remakes of the Minimalist stairs from my old Paradis Set, now fixed and retextured properly and 2 staircases with LED lights (like the ones from the Famous DLC but better looking)
- 3 new railings + assorted fence
- Lots of plain color, stone textures and wood swatches
It was a tough one to make, but I’m happy with how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it!
